It was one of those days

That you just don’t find it

You have needles in your head

The sky’s even uglier

Than you in the mirror

If you make it out of bed

The sound that woke you up

Was the echo of the bell

Pouring through the room

Like a charter into hell

The clouds were whispering

About sorrow in the air

The next thing I remember

I was walking down the stairs

In one of those days

And I opened the door

To see who’s stopping by

I’m staring into face

Little older than was I

And as a lightning bolt

He hits me with his frown

As another sand grain falls

He’s nowhere to be found

And so passes by
